Meet Marsha

Welcome to my website! If you have come here  because of a devastating loss, or a major life transition, you have come to the right place. Please accept my profound condolences. I’m here to help if needed.

I haven’t walked your path but I have been through my own life transitions and come through to the other side to a place of healing and renewal. Because of this  I can appreciate how hard it is to navigate loss and change.  Life’s twists and turns have only served to make my work more empathic in partnering with others suffering the pain of loss.  I have over 29 years experience as a master’s prepared social worker, receiving my MSW from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.  I received coaching training through the Institute for Life Coach Training and began exploring coaching as a method to help develop ways to create new lives in a time of transition or loss. 18 years experience working for a mid-sized hospice with individuals, families and workplaces both before and after a death  has given me a unique perspective on grief and transition and the need for compassionate non-judgmental support traveling the road from loss.

On a personal note, my husband and I live near the shores of Lake Michigan with our blended international family now grown.  My appreciation of the beauty of nature that surrounds me and my love of painting keep me exploring new ways to express that beauty on canvas and is a prime way I nurture myself. I look forward to meeting you!
